Created to offer those shoveling snow and dreaming of the beach a little hope in the form of art, decor and some vintage goodness.
I'm a Single Mom of many years (Now grandmother) who finally fulfilled my dream to have a house by the sea. While walking one sunrise and filling my buckets w/shells for weight I came up with the idea to try and make some $$ with my new found hobby and flair for crafting while working full time in the corporate jungle. As of April 2017... I left the corporate jungle after being with the same company for nearly 20 years. Sign of the times.
I'd like to think of it as a blessing as I am now doing projects with shells and oddities found on the beach, repurposing items, vintage treasure hunting, glass etching, stained glass, and photography full time with a little subcontract social media marketing/PR/Event Planning/Project Mgmt on the side.
The Corona Curse has killed my mobile vending out of the "Fishbowl". Every event has been cancelled now for over a year and it's difficult to sell hats when people can't try them on. :( And I'm one of the "fell between the cracks" lil businesses and persons that has received #NOStimulus and #NoPPP or #PPA whatsoever.)
That said, I am keeping the faith!

My custom hats are available in a variety of designs and are all one of a kind. Custom designs are my specialty, please allow extra time for completion. Sometimes sourcing the goods to complete a theme is tasking however I'm a sleuth when it comes to finding odd and vintage goods! If you have bought or are buying one of my hats, please take pictures and tag #SunscreenAndSeashells on IG FB and so on... I'd really appreciate it! A few were recently purchased by a woman from the Netflix show: Girlboss. Another cowboy hat was purchased by a woman who works at the World Famous Coyote Ugly. Perhaps it will get some snaps and end up on pinterest, insta, fb, etc! (Fingers Crossed for bigger better things!)
